IPL 2024: Three players whose India-career depends on IPL 2024 performance

IPL 2024: Now only a few days are left for the start of IPL 2024. According to the IPL 17th season schedule released by BCCI, it will start on March 22 with the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In such a situation, there are some Indian players for whom this season is going to be very important and special. Let's find those five players whose India-carrier depends on IPL 2024 performance.
Rahul Tripathi
33-year-old Rahul Tripathi has been playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad for the last three seasons. In all three seasons, the team has retained Tripathi in its team for Rs 8.50 crore, but till now he has not been able to stand on the trust of the team management. Last season, Rahul scored 273 runs in 13 innings at an average of 22.75. In total, he has played 89 matches in his IPL career, in which he has scored 2071 runs at a strike rate of 138.99.
Rahul Tripathi has no dearth of talent. In IPL 2022, he scored 413 runs in 14 matches at an average of 37.55, due to which he got a chance in the Indian team, but he could not capitalize on this match. In the blue jersey, Tripathi got a chance in 5 matches for the Indian team, in which he scored only 97 runs, after which he was shown the way out of the team.

Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal, the one-time star bowler of the Indian team, is currently yearning for a place in the team. The 33-year-old leg-spinner has played a total of 72 ODI matches for the Indian team, in which he has taken a total of 121 wickets at an economical economy of just 5.27, while he has taken 96 wickets in the 80 T20 matches played.
Yuzi Chahal is the leading wicketkeeper in the history of the Indian Premier League. In the total of 145 IPL matches played, he has taken a total of 187 wickets with an economy of about seven. In 2022, while playing for Rajasthan Royals, he took 27 wickets in 17 matches for which he was awarded the Purple Cap. In IPL 2024, RR has kept Chahal for 6.50 crore in the 17th season of the IPL.
Prithvi Shaw
25-year-old Delhi Capitals opening batsman Prithvi Shaw has played a total of 71 matches in the IPL so far, in which he has scored 1694 runs at an excellent strike rate of 145. Prithvi made his debut for Delhi in 2018, and since then, the Delhi franchise has been trusting him. In 2018, Delhi invested Shaw in their team for Rs 1.20 crore. For the last two seasons, Shaw has been retained in the team for Rs 8 crore.
Prithvi Shaw scored the most runs for the Delhi Capitals in the 2021 IPL, where he came into the limelight. In the 2021 IPL, he scored 479 runs in a total of 15 matches at a strike rate of 159. But after the 2021 IPL, his performance graph gradually declined. Shaw played a total of 6 ODI matches for the Indian team, in which he could score only 189 runs, after which he was shown the way out of the team.
