IPL 2024: Virat Kohli has been away from the game of cricket since January 2024 due to personal reasons. The legendary cricketer had traveled to Hyderabad with the Indian team for the first test match against England, but then he decided to miss the first two tests. Later, he withdrew his name from the entire five-match test series against England due to the birth of his second child, and no official update has been provided regarding his return since then.

The fans are anxiously waiting to get an official update regarding the return of Virat Kohli, who plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. There's some good news for Virat Kohli fans, as the former RCB skipper will be participating in the opening game of RCB against the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings. According to a news report from India Today, Virat is likely to join the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp on March 17th. RCB will be hosting their unboxing event on March 19, 2024, and Kohli is expected to be a part of that event.

The 35-year-old will be making his much-awaited return to the cricketing field in Bangalore's opening IPL 2024 match against CSK on February 22 at Chennai?s Chepauk Stadium. The Bangalore-based team will then take on the Punjab Kings on March 25 at Bangalore?s Chinnaswamy Stadium. Their third game of the season will be against the Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 in Bangalore, and after the match against KKR, RCB will play host to the Lucknow Super Giants on April 2.

The Faf Du Plessis-led team will travel to Jaipur to lock horns against the Rajasthan Royals in April. The full schedule of IPL 2024 has not been revealed, as the BCCI has released the schedule of just the first 21 games of the IPL as they are waiting to get information regarding the dates of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections before announcing the remaining schedule of IPL 2024.
