IPL 2024: Who will be the Auctioneer in the IPL 2024 Auction? Check out the full details | Indian Premier League 2024: The IPL 2024 Auction is going to be held on December 19, 2023, in Dubai at Coca-Cola Arena, but this time Mallika Sagar will be the Auctioneer in place of Hugh Edmeades. Sagar was the Auctioneer in the WPL 2024 Auction as well.

Mallika Sagar was not new to cricket; she has been part of the Women?s Premier League since its last edition and was also the first female Auctioneer in the Pro Kabaddi League. Now, Mallika Sagar will make her debut in the Indian Premier League.

Before Mallika Sagar, Hugh Edmeades was the Auctioneer of the IPL since 2018, but BCCI didn?t pick him this time. However, Edmeades is expected to return in the Mega Auction next year.

Hugh Edmeades was part of the IPL Auction after Richard Madley collapsed on the stage during the IPL 208 Mega Auction in Bengaluru. Since then, the BCCI has preferred Hugh Edmeades in the IPL auctions.?

IPL Auction Live Streaming Details (When & Where the Auction will be held)

Star Sports Network will stream the IPL 2024 Auction from 1:00 PM (IST). It will be exciting to see how all the teams will buy players in the auction. There will be 333 Players set to go under the hammer in the IPL 2024 Auction, but only 77 slots are available for all ten teams.

IPL 2024 Highest Purse Remaining:

If we look at purse value, then Gujarat Titans have the highest purse remaining for the IPL 2024 Auction as they have 38.15 crores after trading Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians. Sunrisers Hyderabad has the second-highest purse at 34 crore, whereas Kolkata Knight Riders has 32.7 crore.

All these teams will go for some of the big players in the IPL 2024 Auction as they have a good purse remaining, and we can see some of the tough calls between these franchises. Chennai Super Kings, too, have good purse value, so they might target some big fish in this auction in the future.
