Jofra Archer ruled out of the entire England-New Zealand Test series following injury concerns.
English premier pacer Jofra Archer is once again ruled out of the England vs New Zealand Test series. The development is confirmed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Sunday. New Zealand is scheduled to tour England for a two games test series, starting June 2 at Lord's Cricket Ground, London.
Archer sustained the elbow injury during a county championship match for his home side Sussex against Kent. The pacer returned to the field after recovering from the injury to play the domestic championship for his home team but he was once again ruled out. Archer bowled just five overs in the second innings for Sussex and didn't pick the ball in the last two days of the test game.

?The England and Sussex medical teams will now seek guidance, and Archer will see a medical consultant later this week to determine the next course of action on the management of his elbow,? said the ECB media release.
The Barbados-born cricketer was earlier ruled out of the India-England T20I series at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. He returned back to the UK and underwent surgery to remove the glass fragments.
To add salt to the wounds, Archer had to miss the now-suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 due to similar injury concerns. He was picked by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to lead the pace attack for the franchise.
