Vivo IPL 2021: The two times IPL winners, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday roped in Gurkeerat Mann as the replacement of injured batsman Rinku Singh for the fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League.?
The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is slated to begin on 09th April.
As per the reports, Rinku Singh has sustained a knee injury and will require months to recover and become completely fit.
Rinku Singh made his IPL debut back in 2017 and since then the cricketer has featured in 11 IPL games.
Gurkeerat Mann has been brought in to the side for his base price of INR 50 Lakhs. In the last season, Mann played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and was released from the squad ahead of the IPL 2021 Mini-Auctions.
In the IPL 2020, Mann featured in 8 games in which he scored 71 runs at a strike rate of 140. The all-rounder was not given the opportunity to ball BY RCB.
Talking about his overall IPL stats, Gurkeerat Mann in total of 41 IPL games has scored 511 runs at an average of 21.29 and strike rate of 121.09.
