Players like Ajinkya Rahane, Quinton de Kock, Venkatesh Iyer and Angkrish Raghuvanshi have shown glimpses of class, but none of them have been able to perform consistently well. The form of Rinku Singh and Andre Russell is also a matter of concern. Meanwhile, their bowlers have performed sensationally. The likes of Varun Chakravarthy, Vaibhav Arora and Sunil Narine have performed well. The only focus needs to be on batting.
On the other hand, Gujarat Titans have performed brilliantly. They have secured wins in 5 out of 7 matches. Due to this, the Shubman Gill-led outfit is currently sitting at the top of the points table. Their top order consisting og Sai Sudarshan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler have been in brilliant form and this is the reason why the team is doing so well this season. Among the bowlers, Prasidh Krishna is performing consistently, while Mohammed Siraj and Sai Kishore have been impressive.

Eden Gardens pitch report
There have been a lot of disputes over the pitch of the Eden Gardens stadium this season. In the opening game of the season, Ajinkya Rahane and his men wanted a more spinner-friendly surface, but that did not happen. After complaining on multiple occassions, the nature of the pitch has changed a bit.
It became more friendly for the spin bowlers and the same is likely to happen in the match between KKR and GT. However, it will not be a low-scoring affair. Any score around 185-190 can be considered good on this pitch. Bowling first would be the ideal decision as dew might play a role in the second innings.
