Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has named his Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. The mega event will take place in the month of June in the United States of America and the Caribbean and it will be for the first time that 20 teams will be taking part in it. 

Irfan Pathan has surprised many with his Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. The former Indian all-rounder hasn?t picked Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper Sanju Samson in his team. The keeper-batter has looked in tremendous touch in the ongoing IPL and has amassed over 300 runs. 

Skipper Rohit Sharma, young Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli make it into the three of the team picked by Irfan Pathan for the T20 World Cup 2024. The trio has looked in great touch in the ongoing IPL 2024 and their form will be crucial for the team going ahead. He also picked Shubman Gill as a backup opener.?
