ICC WTC Final: Kyle Jamieson revealed how he felt during the high voltage sixth day of WTC Final.
ICC WTC Final: THe star New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamison revealed that he hid in the bathroom to get rid of the nervousness and tension caused on the sixth day of the ICC World Test Championship final between New Zealand and India.
The tall pacer was adjudged as the Man of the Match for his sensational seven crucial wickets and a quick fire 21 in the inaugural ICC Test Championship final.
Jamieson got the better of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings to complete his fifer. In the second innings, the pacer picked Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli in quick succession creating an opening for New Zealand on the sixth day.

The pacer further revealed that the Indian crowd present in the stadium had made him more nervous with their constant chants and support.
"We were sitting inside and actually watching on TV. There was a bit of a delay but it seemed like every ball the Indian crowd was up and about and I was like 'jeez it's a wicket' or something like that, but it turned out it was just a block or a single,? Jamieson said.
For New Zealand, skipper Kane Williamson and Ros Taylor did the job as both batters kept their nerves and took New Zealand over the line.
"It was pretty tough to watch. I actually tried to at times to go to the bathroom where there was no noise to just get away from it for a while because it was quite nerve-racking.?
When asked about the post-victory celebrations, he said there was nothing crazy going on due to the restrictions and covid situation. The boys spent time in the dressing room and team room.
The lanky pacer was back to work straight after 48 hours as he was picked by County Side Surrey for T20.
