Latest ICC Test Rankings, Virat Kohli remain 4th, Pujara rose to number 6.
Test Rankings: Team India?s skipper Virat Kohli remains in the fourth position while Cheteshwar Pujara rose to number 6 in the latest ICC Test Rankings announced on Saturday. Along with Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara, Team India?s Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is also in the top 10 test players.
Virat Kohli with 862 rating points remains at number 4 while Cheteshwar Pujara (760) and Ajinkya Rahane (748) rose to number 6 and 8 respectively.
The throne of the best test batsman is owned by New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson with 919 rating points followed by Australia?s Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne with 891 and 878 rating points respectively.
India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and dashing opener Rohit Sharma are static at 13th and 18th place in the ICC Test Batsmen Ranking.
England skipper Joe Root holds 5th place after successive centuries against Sri Lanka in the recently concluded two games test series.
ICC Test Bowlers Ranking:
Among the bowlers, Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin with 760 points remains at eighth spot followed by ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah with 757 points.
Australia?s pacer spearhead Pat Cummins once again remain as the leader of the chart with 908 rating points followed by Stuart Broad (839). New Zealand pacer Neil Wagner (825) remain constant at number 3 along with Australia?s Josh Hazlewood (816) at number 4.
In the all-rounder?s list, India?s Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin retained their third and sixth place respectively. Jadeja has 419 ratings while Ashwin holds 281 points.
The throne of the best al-rounder is handled by English all-rounder Ben Stokes with 427 rating points in the latest ICC Test Rankings. West Indies Jason Holder follows Ben Stokes to be at number two with 423 points.
Bangladesh?s Shakib Al Hasan (366) features in the fourth while New Zealand?s Kyle Jamieson (293) remains at number 5.
