Lucknow Super Giants new jersey for IPL 2022, KL Rahul begin his IPL training: One of the two new added Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is gearing up hard in the build-up of the most-anticipated Tata IPL 2022. All the players were seen sweating it out in the nets ahead of their opening challenge against Gujarat Titans.

Recently, KL Rahul, the skipper of Lucknow Super Giants, was seen practising some classy stroke-play in the nets as he shared a short clip of his training over his social media handles captioning ?New Colours, same commitments?.

The social media profiles of Lucknow also posted the same, exciting all the fans ahead of the cash-rich tournament starter. The opening match of the Tata IPL 2022 is set to be held in Wankhede Stadium between the two finalists of the IPL 2021 (Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders).

Lucknow is scheduled to play its debut match against Gujarat Titans (GT) on March 28 in the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The franchise is placed in Group A alongside Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Lucknow acquired the services of KL Rahul ahead of the IPL auctions by paying a colossal sum of INR 17 Crores, which makes him the highest-paid cricketer of the IPL 2022.

The dashing batter has been on the roll as far as his batting is concerned. Rahul has smashed over 500 runs in each IPL season since 2018. His best performance came in the IPL 2020 where he mustered 670 runs in just 14 IPL matches and won the Orange Cap Award.

Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has also revealed their brand new jersey for the fifteenth edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).

Fans all across the globe breathed a sigh of relief after Lucknow opted to wear a cyan coloured jersey. Earlier, Gujarat Titans (GT) revealed their jersey, but, fans were unhappy after they opted to go with a blue colour which has been already donned by Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

The Cyan colour jersey of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) brought smiles into the faces of fans who were tired to watch blue coloured jerseys sported by various IPL teams.
