Test cricket is the premier format of the game, and it has been played for over 150 years or more. That is why over time, this format has seen many changes and updates. The batsmanship has changed over the years. But we are blessed to have some of the best test batters in modern-day cricket as well.

Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar holds the record of most centuries in test cricket. He retired with 51 centuries, followed by Jacques Kallis (45) and Ricky Ponting (41). But after that, there are 13 batters with 30 or more centuries in test cricket.

But who has the most Test hundreds among active players? All four members of the "Fab Four" certainly feature on this list. But who ranked at the top? In this article we will talk about the top five active batters with the most centuries in test cricket.

5. Cheteshwar Pujara - 19 Centuries

The Indian veteran batter Cheteshwar Pujara ranked fifth on this list. He had an incredible career for India and scored runs everywhere in the last decade. His form declined, and he is not part of the team at the moment. He has played 103 tests for India and scored 7195 runs at an average of 43.60 with 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries.

4. Virat Kohli - 30 Centuries

There was a time in 2019 when Virat Kohli had the most test centuries among the active cricket. But his three-year century drought and the form didn't help him in the last five years or so.
