New Zealand vs Netherlands Match Highlights
Netherlands captain Scott Edwards invited New Zealand to bat first after winning at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad this afternoon. Batting first, New Zealand scored 322 runs at the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs. Opener batsman Will Young scored the most runs; he scored 70 runs in 80 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. Captain Latham 53 runs, Daryl Mitchell 48 runs, and Santner had an inning of 36 runs in just 17 balls.
Chasing the target of 322 runs, the Netherlands team could not even play the entire 50 overs. The team was all out for just 223 runs in 46.3 overs. Colin Ackermann scored the most runs for the Netherlands team, which is playing in the World Cup for the first time. He played a brilliant inning with 69 runs on 73 balls. Apart from Ackermann, no batsman could stand against the bowling of Mitchell Santner and Matt Henry. Santner took five wickets for 59 runs in 10 overs, while Matt Henry took three wickets.
