No IND vs PAK game on September 10, IND vs PAK Weather Update Colombo: In very disappointing news for the cricket fans across India and Pakistan, the upcoming IND vs PAK clash on September 10 is under the threat of getting washed out again. Notably, India is set to take on Pakistan in match 3 of the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s in Colombo's R Premadasa Stadium.
The weather forecast for Colombo isn't encouraging to have a no-interruption game of cricket on September 10. The rain gods are highly expected to play spoilsport as India and Pakistan meet for the second time.
Interestingly, the first interaction between India and Pakistan in Pallekele was also washed out due to rain. Only one innings of the fixture was possible on September 2 in the IND vs PAK game and the officials had to call off the game with teams sharing one point each.
Now it seems the wet weather has followed the Indian cricket team from Pallekele to Colombo, where the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s are set to be held along with the final of the tournament.
Taking quick action in order to save important games like India vs Pakistan from getting washed out, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board (SLC) has written to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to reconsider hosting the remaining games of the Asia Cup 2023 in Colombo. The island nation's cricket board also asked the ACC to shift games to Hambantota, where the weather looks promising.
Below is the No IND vs PAK game on September 10, IND vs PAK Weather Update Colombo, Match to be cancelled?
