NZ vs PAK: Keeping in view the T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan team will go to New Zealand to play a five-match T20 series. This series will start on January 12, and the final T20 match will be played on January 21. The leadership of the New Zealand team will be on the shoulders of Kane Williamson.

Kane Williamson, the captain, and opening batsman Devon Conway have returned for the series against Pakistan. Both batsmen were rested following the Bangladesh Test series. Williamson cannot?participate in the third T20 of the series due to a knee injury. Josh Clarkson has been named as his replacement, with Mitchell Santner taking over as captain in his absence.

All five matches of the series will be played at four different venues: the first match will be played on January 12 at Eden Park Stadium in Hamilton, the second on January 14 at Seddon Park in Dunedin, and the third match on January 17 at the University Oval in Dunedin. The fourth and fifth matches of the same series will be played at Hagley Oval Stadium in Christchurch.

Head coach Gary Stead said, "The Pakistan series is important for a number of reasons, and he has put emphasis on the Pakistan series as the T20 World Cup is around the corner." The return of Matt, Devon, Ferguson, and Kane is fantastic for the team; they will be vital to the team. There are four big players and their skills and experience will strengthen our team.
