The toss was won by Kiwi captain Tom Latham, who elected to bowl first. In response, the Pakistani team scored 287 runs in the allotted 50 overs while losing six wickets.
Fakhar Zaman, the hero of the previous two games, was out today for only 19 runs. In both of the most recent games, he had struck a century and received the man of the match honors. Apart from him, captain Babar Azam scored 54 runs in 62 balls with three fours and a six. While Imam-ul-Haq played an inning of 90 runs in 107 balls with the help of seven fours and a six.
Pakistan is leading 2-1 in the five-match series and New Zealand will have to chase down a target of 288 runs in 50 overs if they want to make a comeback in the series.
