PAK vs NZ: After the conclusion of a 5-match T20I series, the home side Pakistan and the visitors New Zealand are all set to square off against one another in a 5-match ODI series. This post will walk you through PAK vs NZ ODI Schedule, Full Squads, Venue, Timing, Streaming, and More.
No Kane Williamson, no Devon Conway, no Trend Boult, no Tim Southee, no Lokie Ferguson, no Santner, no Finn Allen, no Micheall Bracewell, and no Phillips, still New Zealand managed to end the T20I series on level 2-2 against the full strength Pakistan team in their home.
Pakistan won the first two T20Is in fashion by 88 and 38 runs respectively. New Zealand bounced back stronger in the third T20I and defeated Pakistan by 4 runs. The fourth T20I was washed out due to rain at Rawalpindi. In the last T20I, Pakistan had a chance to claim any series since September 2022 but thanks to Mark Chapman's lone century helped New Zealand to win the last T20I to draw the series despite playing with a young team.
Now New Zealand, going forward, will definitely be happy with drawing the series and this would boost their confidence for the forthcoming ODI series. Following his standout performance in the last T20I, Chapman is added to New Zealand's ODI squad.
Pakistan vs New Zealand ODI series will feature 5 ODI matches with the 1st ODI to be played on 27th April 2023 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium at 3:30 PM(Local) / 4:00 pm IST. The second ODI will also be played at the same venue on 29th April. The teams will then move to Karachi for the last three ODIs.
