Pakistan vs England 1st Test: Aamir Jamal and Salman Agha salvage the day as Pakistan ends Day 4 at 152-6

Pakistan's batting duo of Aamir Jamal and Salman Ali Agha played a crucial role in stabilising the home side's batting display and ensured that the Green Shirts ended the fourth day of the 1st Test-Match in Multan at a score of 152-6. The Shan Masood-led team trail by 115 runs behind England's first inning total.

Agha's crucial inning of 41* runs in 49 deliveries and Jamal's knock of 27* runs in 48 balls took the Green Shirts to 152-6 at the end of day four.
At the beginning of the 2nd innings, the batters of Pakistan were put under tremendous pressure as the English bowling unit wrecked havoc with the ball.

Within the first 20 overs of Pakistan?s 2nd inning, the Shaheens lost five wickets including captain Shan Masood who managed to score just 11 runs after scoring a brilliant 150+ score in the first inning.

The Green Shirts started off on a horrible note as opener Abdullah Shafique got out for a golden-duck on the very first ball of the Pakistani inning as Chris Woakes got rid of him.
Later on, wickets of Saim Ayub, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were dismissed in the next few overs as well, which left the Shaheens at an embarrassing score of 59-5.

Things stabilised for the Shan Masood-led team as Salman Agha and Saud Shakeel brought things under control but it didn't last for long as Shakeel was sent back to the pavilion in the 25th over.
Earlier in the match, England had declared their 1st inning at a humongous score of 823-7 at the stroke of tea on day four of the first Test-Match versus Pakistan on Thursday, 10th of October as they took a lead of 267 runs.

Hard-Hitting batter Harry Brook (317 runs) scored a tremendous triple century alongside Joe Root (262 runs) as both players scored their highest scores of their respective Test-Careers on the batting paradise of the Multan Cricket Stadium.

Recommencing England's inning from a score of 492-3 on day 4 of the opening Test-Match, Brook and Root went past Pakistan's total of 556 runs as England reached a score of 658-3 at the lunch-period.

Both players stitched a partnership of 409 runs in 488 deliveries for the 4th-wicket at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
