Pakistan vs England Test-Series 2024: When and Where to watch the Test-Series in India

Pakistan vs England Test-Series 2024: When and Where to watch the Test-Series in India: Shan Masood-Led Pakistan is set to host England in an exciting three-match Test-Series, as part of ICC’s World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-2025 cycle, with the matches scheduled to take place at the stadiums of Rawalpindi and Multan.

The Three-Match Test-Series begins on Monday (7th of October) with the first encounter set to be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium in the city of Multan and the same venue will be playing host to the second test as well, scheduled to begin from 15th October onwards before the action shifts to the city of Rawalpindi where the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will be hosting the third & final match of the series.

Pakistan have unveiled their squad for just the first test-match of the series. Shan Masood will once again be seen wearing the captain’s hat in the upcoming three-match Test-Series versus the Three Lions.

Veteran left-arm-orthodox-spinner Noman Ali has been included in the squad for the 1st test and he will be playing his first test after a span of one year. His last match in the longest-format of the game was versus Sri Lanka in Colombo in July of 2023. Fast-Bowling All-Rounder Aamer Jamal, who missed the recent home-series versus Bangladesh, has returned as well as the duo of Mohammad Ali and Kamran Ghulam have been dropped.

England on the other hand, will witness the comeback of their full-time red-ball captain Ben Stokes, who missed the entire series versus Sri Lanka, having got injured during The Hundred competition. Ollie Pope captained the team in the absence of Stokes.

Stokes though has not recovered completely from his hamstring injury and he will not be taking part in the 1st test match of the series.

The tourists, who have an excellent opportunity of qualifying for the WTC final, have seen the return of opening batter Zak Crawley and the spin-bowling duo of Rehan Ahmed & Jack Leach have made a comeback to the squad as well. They will be partnering Shoaib Bashir as the main-spinners in the squad.

Pakistan are sitting at the eighth position in the overall standings of WTC with a PCT of 19.05 while the Three Lions are sitting fourth with a PCT of 42.19. The Englishmen will be entering the series versus Pakistan on the back of a comfortable 2-1 series victory over Sri Lanka.

The Green Shirts on the other hand are fresh from a shocking 0-2 home-series whitewash against Bangladesh.

The Ben-Stokes led team will be visiting Pakistan to play in a test- series for the 2nd time in the span of two-years. In the previous meeting between the two teams, the Three Lions ended up claiming a whitewash of 3-0 in 2022.
