His 49-delivery hundred marked his maiden ton in the PSL and placed him alongside the legendary Chris Gayle (2011) of RCB, Virat Kohli (2016) of RCB, Jos Buttler (2022) of Rajasthan Royals (RR) & Shubman Gill (2023) of the Gujarat Titans (GT) as the only players to slam four hundreds in the shortest format of the game in a year.
He became the first ever Pakistani player to achieve this feat and he did so in just nine innings. His knock of 102 runs helped Islamabad secure a convincing victory over Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) by a margin of 102 runs and this win allowed them to climb to the top of the table.

Sahibzada Farhan of Islamabad United (IU) in 2025*
Islamabad United (IU) trounced Peshawar Zalmi (PZ) in the game, putting up a commanding score of 243/5 on the board.
After being asked to bat first, United suffered an early setback when Andries Gous was run out by Tom Kohler-Cadmore for a duck, bringing the score down to 9/1 after just 1.2 overs.
But, the duo of Farhan and Colin Munro swiftly swiftly turned things around, with a forceful response. After just 11 overs, the score reached 128/1 thanks to a scorching 100-run partnership between the two players.
Farhan equaled the record for the fastest century by an Islamabad United batsman in the history of the league with a spectacular performance that saw him earn his first-ever PSL century in just 49 balls.
Alzarri Joseph ultimately ended Farhan and Munro's 144-run stand by dismissing Munro for 40, leaving United at 153/2 in 13.1 overs. United concluded with a massive total of 243/5, making it difficult for Peshawar Zalmi to chase after Jason Holder and Ben Dwarshuis added 20 and 18 runs, respectively, to stay undefeated in the latter stages.
In addition to giving Islamabad United a historic victory, Farhan's outstanding performance cemented his place in T20 history.
