The ticket rates for the forthcoming Marquee event of this year i.e the Champions Trophy 2025, slated to be held in Pakistan and the UAE next month, have been revealed, with prices differing for each hosting stadium of the competition. 
After some thorough consultation processes, the final pricing-structure has been formed and according to the news reports of the Pakistan Media, the prices of the tickets at each venue i.e Lahore, Karachi &amp; Rawalpindi will be different depending on the seating category and the venue. 
The minimum ticket-price has been set at 1,000 Pakistani Rupees (310 Indian Rupees) while the highest are anticipated to reach upto 25,000 Pakistani Rupees (7, 764 Indian Rupees) for the high end VIP &amp; hospitality experiences. 
The Champions Trophy 2025 tickets have been divided into multiple categories including First Class, General-Enclosure, VIP, Premium &amp; VVIP, ensuring that the fans get the chance the chance to choose according to their needs and preferences.
The Semi-Final knockout matches, which are obviously anticipated to draw crouds in huge numbers, will have a higher base price for the tickets, with the minimum rate set at 2,500 Pakistani Rupees (776 Indian Rupees).

Premium category tickets for the England vs Australia are priced at 5,000 Pakistani Rupees (1,552 Indian Rupees) and the VIP tickets will cost 7,500 Pakistani Rupees (2,329 Indian Rupees). For the ones seeking to have the most exclusive and best experience at the stadiums, the VVIP are available at 12,000 Pakistani Rupees (3,726 Indian Rupees), while the Gallery Tickets for the ENG vs AUS contest will be available to purchase for 18,000 Pakistani Rupees (5,590 Indian Rupees). 
<h2>Afghanistan Champions Trophy matches ticket prices</h2>
The matches involving the Cricket team of Afghanistan, including the Afghanistan versus Australia and England versus Afghanistan clashes, will have General Enclosure tickets available to purchase for 1,000 Pakistani Rupees (310 Indian Rupees), with Gallery tickets costing 12,500 Pakistani Rupees (3,882 Indian Rupees).

Premium category Tickets for the Bangladesh versus Pakistan clash cost 7,000 Pakistani Rupees (2,173 Indian Rupees) and the VIP tickets will be sold for a price tag of 12,500 Pakistani Rupees (3,882 Indian Rupees). Jasprit Bumrah has been advised bed rest so that his muscles recover and the swelling gets over. Following that, he will be moving to the newly built NCA of the BCCI, which is known as the Center of Excellence for his recovery and rehabilitation process. 
The BCCI are hopeful that the fast bowler doesn't have a disc bulge or muscle swelling, which is of a higher grade. This might rule him out of cricketing action for a longer period of time and leave a massive void in the Indian team, especially with important assignments around the corner. 
The Board of Control for India doesn't want to rush Jasprit Bumrah back into the action. So far, there hasn't been any clarity on what is the exact nature of the injury, but if it's more than the back swelling, then there are chances his return could take longer than expected.

A source close to BCCI confirmed the development, saying that they will be deciding on a future course of action once there is clarity. He said that they want to make sure that talent like Bumrah is preserved. Speaking to the Times of India, he explained: 
"Bumrah could go to the CoE next week, but right now, there is no fixed date yet. He has been advised bed rest at home to help the muscles recover and the swelling to subside. Once that is done, the future course of action will be ascertained," said a well-placed source. 
"Bed rest doesn't sound good. I hope it's not a disc bulge or a muscle swelling which is of a higher grade. The approach has to be similar with him - wrap him in cotton wool and preserve the talent like him," added the source. 
Earlier, there were reports which claimed that Jasprit Bumrah would be back in action during the later stages of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The report said that the pacer will miss the league stage and could return to action during the semi-final and final.

A source close to the BCCI made a massive statement, saying that if India doesn't do well in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, he might be sacked. The source added that the head coach hasn't done anything good as of yet. Speaking to PTI, he explained: 
"If India doesn't do well in the Champions Trophy, the head coach's position could become untenable. Yes, his contract runs till the 2027 World Cup but the process of evaluation continues. Sport is result-oriented and till now, Gambhir hasn't given any tangible results." 
The source added that Gautam Gambhir wants to the end superstar culture in the ,team which hasn't gone well with many in the side. He explained: 
"Gambhir wants to end the superstar culture that has been prevalent for so many years now. As captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012, he had dropped Brendon McCullum from the playing XI for the IPL final against CSK. He has come here to dismantle the superstar culture and that's what has caused discomfort for some playing members." 
The reports also claimed that selection committee also aren't happy with Gautam Gambhir. The Ajit Agarkar-led side don't want head coach to have too much of a say in selection matters. With all the tides against him, the future looks bleak for him and hence ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be extremely important for him.

Indian Cricket Team batter Shubman Gill is all set to become the next ODI captain of the team. As per the reports in RevSportz, it is learned that the young batter will be replacing Rohit Sharma as the skipper of the team after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. 
Shubman Gill was included in the Indian team leadership group after the T20 World Cup 2024. The young batter was appointed as the vice-captain of the team in the ODIs as well as the T20Is, and it is expected that he will perform the role of vice-captain in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. 
There have been several reports that claimed that the Indian team is all set to have a new captain after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. It was learned that Rohit Sharma himself said that he would stay captain till the BCCI found the new captain and vowed that he would support the new captain. 
Although Shubman Gill has been struggling with his form of late, the potential that he has and the ability that he has, he is touted as the future of Indian Cricket. He has also been leading the team in the IPL as well and will be captaining Gujarat Titans in the next season as well.
Shubman Gill being named as the next captain of India means it will be a massive step forward for the team. The transition peddle is all set to be pressed after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with some big steps being taken along with the call on the future of young players. 
The reports also claimed that Shubman Gill is all set to play in the second round of Ranji Trophy 2024-25. He will be playing for Punjab in the game against Karnatka, starting 23rd January.

While the wrist spinner is expected to be fit by 25th January, the fast bowler is all set to miss the league stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and might be available for the knockout stage of the tournament.
