Players RCB will retain and release in the IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) once again bowed down in the playoffs after playing remarkably well in the league stage of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Under the leadership of Faf du Plessis, Bangalore reached the qualifier 2 of the tournament, however, their loss was destined at the hands of Rajasthan Royals (RR), who were beaming high on their confidence.
Even though the franchise in red and black reached the playoffs, their journey had several hiccups. RCB didn?t reach the top four on their own but had to rely on the support of Mumbai Indians to pip Delhi Capitals out of the race in the penultimate match of the league stage.
Nevertheless, it was a good journey for Faf du Plessis and his troops throughout the tournament. Royal Challengers Bangalore had several positives to reflect upon in the season and their aim will be to consistently do better and set the bar high.
The next season of the IPL will be crucial for RCB, as they will once again step up to end their quest for the maiden IPL title. Moreover, with the view of how they performed in the IPL 2022, the management would expect them to do a lot better than that.

The likes of Karn Sharma, Siddharth Kaul, David Willey and Anuj Rawat might face an axe from the franchise ahead of the Tata IPL 2023.
