Vivo IPL 2021: South African all-rounder Chris Morris?s heroic took the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals over the line against Delhi Capitals with three wickets to spear. Morris proved why he was a million-dollar pick for the franchises in the IPL 2021 auction as he finishes off the match with a six in the penultimate delivery of the last over.
Sanju Samson?s Rajasthan Royals (RR) didn?t have a good start to the innings as their top five batsmen were dismissed in mere 42 runs. Delhi Capitals bowlers were getting enough assistance from the surface however the South African duo David Miller and Chris Morris kept their nerves and finished the game for Rajasthan Royals.
David Miller came to rescue his team after the top order collapse. He played sensible cricket without taking any risk in the low scoring chase at Wankhede. Miller rotated the strike and held the wickets from one end.?

For Delhi Capitals Avesh Khan picked three wickets while Kagiso Rabada and Chris Woakes scalped two wickets each.
Jayadev Unadkat for Rajasthan Royals was adjudged as the Man of the Match for his fierce opening spell which pushed Delhi Capitals into backfoot.
The pacer picked three initial wickets in his first three overs inside the powerplay. While Mustafizur Rahman got two wickets and Chris Morris got one.
Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant played a captain?s knock of 51 runs from 32 balls when no one from the other end was supporting him. However, Riyan Parag?s brilliant throw ended Pant?s show at Wankhede last night.
Delhi Capitals (DC) only manage to score 147 runs in their quota of 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets.
With the win against Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals jumped to 5th place with two points while Delhi Capitals are on 4th with as many points.
