Ravindra Jadeja has been under the scanner for his below-par performances in the home series against New Zealand and then in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. As a result, there have been some questions over his place in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is all set to start next month.

Notably, the all-rounder has already retired from T20I along with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Recently, India saw Ravichandran Ashwin retiring from international cricket, which saw the end of a successful spin combo for India along with Jadeja.

However, the emergence of young spinners and declining form raised some questions on Jadeja's future as well. And now, the all-rounder has come up with a cryptic message that has left his fans guessing about Jadeja's decision.

Ravindra Jadeja shares a cryptic post ahead of the squad announcement of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025

Team India are likely to announce their squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in the coming days. Jadeja is a key part of the Indian ODI setup because of his all-round ability. But with players like Washington Sundar, Riyan Parag, and Axar Patel, it has become difficult to make a place in the 15-member squad. Some media reports even confirmed that there will be a race between Sundar, Jadeja, and Axar for the spin all-rounder in the squad.

And if Ravindra Jadeja couldn't make a cut, we might not see him playing in ODIs again. Amid all these speculations, the allrounder shared a picture on his official Instagram handle. He shared the picture of his Test jersey, which made the fans on the internet curious. Many fans were guessing about the purpose of the post, while some of them even said that Jadeja has called his time.

Team India have been in transition under head coach Gautam Gambhir, who himself wants to make a strong base of players for the upcoming ODI World Cup in 2027. That is where Jadeja's post has spread like the fire in the woods. After losing the BGT series 1-3, India will be back in action in the home series against England, which will begin on January 22. Both teams will play five T20Is and three ODIs on this tour.
