Ricky Ponting Heart Attack: The big news is coming about former Australian captain Ricky Ponting. Ricky Ponting was admitted to the hospital in Perth on Friday after having a heart-related complaint. Ponting is included as a commentator in the Australia vs. West Indies series. According to reports, the former captain was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack while doing commentary during the third day of the first Test against the West Indies.

Ponting is now in stable condition

The Australian newspaper Daily Telegraph reported that Ponting’s staff members currently describe his condition as stable. For the third session, Ponting will no longer be providing commentary. Ponting reportedly informed his workmates when he felt ill and made the decision to get tested after experiencing some symptoms.

Australian cricket has experienced difficulty over the past few years. Rod Marsh and Shane Warne, two of Australia’s greatest legends, passed away this year in March.

In 375 ODIs, he’s scored 13,704 runs at a 42.03 average, including 30 centuries and 82 half-centuries. In 17 T20 matches, he amassed 401 runs at an average of 28.64, including two half-centuries. He was a member of the Australian team that won the 50-over World Cup three times in a row, in 1999, 2003, and 2007.
