Rishabh Pant has been appointed brand ambassador of Uttarakhand

Rishabh Pant has been appointed brand ambassador of Uttarakhand: The young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been appointed Uttarakhand?s Brand Ambassador. The step was taken by the sitting BJP government on 19th December. The development was confirmed by the Chief Minister of State, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Dhami labelled Pant as one of the brightest cricketers in the country. He also said that Rishabh is the idol of millions of Indians and his appointment as the ambassador will help to encourage the youth towards sports.

?One of the best cricket players of India, idol of youth, and Lal Shri Rishabh Pant of Uttarakhand has been appointed by our government as ?State Brand Ambassador? with the aim of encouraging the youth of the state towards sports and public health,? tweeted Dhami.

Further, Dhami said that he congratulated the cricketer through a video call and has invited him for a meeting.

Rishabh Pant in touring South Africa currently:

Currently, Rishabh is with team India in the tour of South Africa for three test matches and as many ODI games. The series is scheduled to begin on 26th December in SuperSport Park Centurian.

Team India led by Virat Kohli in the test will begin the tour of South Africa while the ODI series will be played after the conclusion of the test series.

Rishabh Pant has formed himself as a strong force in Indian cricket. He is the first choice wicketkeeper for India in all three formats. He made his international debut in a T20I series against England in 2017.

Since then the cricketer has featured in 25 Tests, 18 ODIs, and 41 T20Is. In the longest format, Rishabh has amassed 1549 runs, while 529 runs and 607 runs in ODI and T20I respectively.
