Rohit Sharma pumped up to lift the T20 World Cup trophy again.

Team India?s limited-overs Vice-captain Rohit Sharma is confident to lift the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 trophy and repeat the heroics again in the shortest format of cricket again. He asserted that the Indian team will give its all to defy the odds and win the tournament in the UAE.

The showpiece event of the shortest format is scheduled to commence on 17th October in the UAE and Oman.

It is noteworthy that, India under Mahendra Singh Dhoni picked up the T20 World Cup trophy in the inaugural season of the tournament, in 2007, and since then it has been a run of barren land.

On Wednesday, Sharma on his social media handles posted a picture of team India?s winning moment of ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and put up a strong note with it to clearly specify the ambitions of the team.

?Sep 24th, 2007, Johannesburg. The day when a billion dreams came true. Who would have thought back then that a relatively inexperienced, young team like ours would end up creating history!!,? wrote Rohit Sharma on his Instagram post.
