Sachin Tendulkar to continue home isolation, discharged from the Hospital.
Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been discharged from the hospital on Thursday and will continue his home isolation to recuperate well. The 47-years old was admitted to the hospital on April 2 as a precautionary measure after coming in contact with coronavirus on March 27.
Tendulkar informed the development to his fans on Twitter, and said, ?I have just come home from the hospital and will remain isolated while continuing to rest and recuperate. I would like to thank everyone for all the good wishes and prayers. Really appreciate it,? Tendulkar said.
He also thanked all the medical staff for taking his care during the hard times.
?I remain ever grateful to all the medical staff who took such good care of me & have been working tirelessly for over a year in such difficult circumstances,? said Tendulkar.
The former cricketer on March 27 informed all his fans that he has been tested covid positive post the Road Safety World Series and said all his family members have tested covid negative.
The World Series held in Raipur was played with the presence of fans in the stadium and former players of South Africa, West Indies, England, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka also took part.
After Sachin Tendulkar, Yusuf Pathan, Subramanium Badrinath and Irfan Pathan also confirmed that they have also tested covid positive. All aforementioned players were part of the Road Safety World Series which was held to raise awareness in the country about Road etiquettes and behaviours.
The Series was won by Indian Legends playing the final against Sri Lankan Legends. The whole stadium was lit up as the scenes of the 2011 World Cup finals were recreated.
