Winston Benjamin Sought Sachin Tendulkar for Help:
Based on the same lines, Winston Benjamin, the ex-fast bowler of the West Indies has sought the top flight cricketers and ex-cricketers to help him promote the game of cricket effectively. In a video shared by senior journalist, and YouTuber Vinal Kumar on his YouTube Channel. Benjamin said, “Previously, we used to have a tournament in Sharjah where it used to be like a benefit game for players from different countries. I don’t want benefits. All I want is for somebody to say ‘here is some equipment’ – 10-15 bats, that is good enough for me. I don’t want 20000 US dollars. I just want some equipment so that I can give back to youngsters. That’s all I am asking,”
Winston Benjamin now works as a coach and a promoter of the game that he loves the most in the Caribbean Islands. He played 85 ODIs and 21 Test matches between 1986 and 1995 for the West Indies. He scalped 161 wickets in total. The tall fast bowler was a part of one of the most dreaded Caribbean fast bowling lineups.

Sachin Tendulkar has previously indulged in philanthropic activities and this time around as well; he will work on helping Winston. Sachin had featured in the exhibition game at the MCC back in 2014.
