Shikhar Dhawan retirement

Shikhar Dhawan has announced his retirement from international cricket. After Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma retired from T20 internationals, the Indian fans have suffered another shock as veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan has hung his boots from internationals and domestic cricket.

The 38-year-old made his international debut with a stunning century on his Test debut, and it had been a decorated career for the Indian opener. But he lost his place to Shubman Gill and other young openers coming up the rank. Dhawan played his last match for India in December 2022 against Bangladesh.
