SL vs PAK 2023: 2nd Test Day 2 Stumps, Pakistan is at 178/2 and Lead by 12 runs | Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 2nd Test 2023:?Due to the rain, A few overs were bowled on Day 2 and Pakistan played well as they couldn't lose any wicket. Pakistan scored 178 runs on the scoreboard, leading by 12 runs.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are playing the second and last test match at Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Pakistan won the first test and is ahead in the series by 1-0.

Sri Lanka won the toss, and they came to bat first, but this decision fell upon them, and they got all out by scoring 166 runs on the scoreboard in just 48.4 overs.

Dhananjaya de Silva and Dinesh Chandimal made a crucial partnership of 85 runs for the fifth wicket, saving Sri Lanka from being collapsed under 100 runs.

Dhananjaya de Silva scored 57 runs in 68 balls, whereas Dinesh Chandimal scored 34 runs in 60 balls. From Pakistan Side, Abrar Ahmed took four wickets, whereas Naseem Shah got three wickets.

In their First Inning, Pakistan played good cricket and showed nice intent against Sri Lanka's bowling attack. Opener Abdullah Shafique is playing at 87 runs, whereas Skipper Babar Azam scored 28*(49).

Sri Lanka Pacer Asitha Fernando took two wickets and gave 51 runs in 8.3 overs, and other bowlers couldn't get a single wicket by the end of Day 2. Sri Lankan Bowlers tried to take wickets and didn't lead Pakistan to have a massive lead.

Currently, Pakistan is far ahead of Sri Lanka in this match, and they were hoping to clean sweep the series, whereas Sri Lanka needs to give their best to save the series; otherwise, Pakistan will get the first position in the WTC Points Table.
