One of the top priority retentions, Heinrich Klaasen, is often considered to be paying off a whopping amount of INR 23 crore, while Aussie all-rounder Pat Cummins will remain their second major retention, ranging up to INR 18 crore.

However, Cummins might be seen as the captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming season as well. At the same time, Abhishek Sharma can be taken into the side for a huge sum of INR 14 crore.

Klaasen smacked a staggering 479 runs at a strike rate of 171.07, which was the third-highest total scored for SRH after Head and Abhishek. Abhishek Sharma also backed with 484 runs, while Travis Head was their arguably the best batter, having scored 567 runs in the season.

But what took Abhishek and Head into the limelight was their great strike rate, which was 204.21 and 191.55 for the batters, respectively.

With the likely speculations of these three players being retained, three heavyweight campaigners from the SRH campaign look dumped.

The latest SRH management has overlooked the likes of their best performer from last season, Travis Head, rising Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Sunrisers veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Coming to Head, every man related to the game is aware of his sparkling form since the World Cup in India in 2023. Head has surpassed the likes of Indian T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav to be named the ICC No. 1 ranked World T20 batter. Head made some amazing records this year in international T20s and was also nominated for the Player of the Month for September.

NK Reddy, who made his debut against Bangladesh, will now not be retained as an uncapped player, and hence his retention would cost them a lot. Yet Reddy is a powerhouse of talent, and franchises will be looming at him.

Bhuvneshwar, on the other hand, stands as their best performer for several seasons, as the Indian maestro has been a multiple times Purple Cap winner, though, at the back of just one bad season, SRH is seemingly not looking to have him retained for the upcoming season.
