In the last over of the powerplay, two catches of Hyderabad's explosive batter Travis Head were dropped by Ravi Bishnoi and Nicholas Pooran. At the other end, the home side lost the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan, but Head was batting explosively, so Head's wicket was important to stop Hyderabad.

Lucknow Super Giants' fast bowler Prince Yadav is from Delhi. He was born in Dariyapur village of Najafgarh and started playing cricket with a tennis ball. After that, he joined the Sporting Club and got his start in cricket under the guidance of Amit Vashisht. Meanwhile, Delhi's fast bowler Pradeep Sangwan and all-rounder Lalit Lamba also helped Prince move forward.
The right-arm seamer first made his mark in white-ball cricket through the Delhi Premier League. In the 2024 season, he played for the Rishabh Pant-led team, Old Delhi 6, where his ability to change the pace of his ball caught everyone's attention. After taking 13 wickets in ten matches, he got a chance to make his IPL debut for the Lucknow team, having previously played two Ranji matches.
Born in 2001, the 23-year-old was the fifth highest wicket-taker in the Delhi Premier League 2024 (DPL 2024). He also took a hat-trick in the DPL and became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the tournament.
The pacer took a hat-trick in the match against Central Delhi Kings. In the 18th over of the match, Prince first dismissed Keshav Dabas, who was caught in the deep. The right-arm fast bowler then caught Sumit Kumar plumb in front of the stumps. He then completed his hat-trick by dismissing Harish Dagar, who was clean bowled on a full toss delivery.
Bowler with the most wickets in Vijay Hazare Trophy
Prince was also the leading wicket-taker for Delhi in the 50-over Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 2024-25 season. He took 11 wickets at an average of 22. He was bought by LSG for a base price of Rs 30 lakhs in the mega auction ahead of IPL 2025.
The right-arm fast bowler made his first-class debut for Delhi against Jammu and Kashmir in the Ranji Trophy in January 2024 and has played 2 first-class matches since then. However, Prince has only managed to take one wicket in the two Ranji matches. He has taken 11 wickets each in 6 List A matches and 8 T20Is in his career.
