Still in the hunt for their fourth medal, India enters the 11th day of the Paris Olympics - ft. Neeraj Chopra

India has sent a fair enough contingent of 129 members to the Paris Olympics, with PV Sindhu and Sarath Kamla being the Indian flag bearers. The most trustworthy name among all is India?s Golden Boy from the Tokyo Olympics?Neeraj Chopra.
India has always been seen to have made their way into the Olympics, with events like badminton, wrestling, and often rifle shooting. The highly anticipated athletes for the Paris Olympics were Nikhat Zareen, Lovlina Borgohain, Manika Batra, PV Sindhu, Lakshya Sen, the India skeet mixed team, TT player Sarath Kamla, and many wrestlers as well.

India set records in the Paris Olympics.
- Manu Bhaker becomes the first Indian women shooter to win a medal at the Olympics.
- Manu Bhaker also becomes the first ever Indian athlete to win two medals in a single Olympics for Independent India. She has won two bronze medals in 10 meter air pistol in both singles and mixed team events.
- India won their first medal in a mixed-team shooting event with Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh.
- Indian TT stars Manika Batra and Sreeja Akula emerged as the first players from India in the sport to have made it to the Round of 16 (or pre-quarterfinals) in the Olympics.
- The men?s hockey team also ensured glory as they defeated the Australian hockey team for the first time in 52 years. Next, they made it to the semi-finals after defeating Great Britain in the quarterfinals.
- Manu Bhaker lost the 25-meter air pistol, as she stood fourth while so did Lakshya Sen in the bronze medal match at badminton singles.
- Star boxer Lovlina Borgohain lost her quarterfinal and left the events with a heavy heart.
- Swapnil Kusale won India?s third bronze medal at the Paris Olympics in men?s 50m rifle shooting, which is India?s record third medal at the same events in the Olympics.

India?s 11th-day athletes who will be in the hunt for their 4th medal:
- India?s first-team table tennis men?s team will compete in the pre-quarter final or round of 16 against China.
- India?s Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra will compete in the athletic event for the javelin throw from group B. India will pin their hopes on the star thrower for their first medal of the Olympics in 2024.
- Kishore Jena, the Olympic debutant, will step in the same event from Group A.
- Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat will be first among the Phogat sisters if she can bring an Olympic medal to India.
She will be first seen in a Round of 16 event in the women?s freestyle wrestling Round of 16, and if qualified, her quarterfinal and semifinal matches are scheduled on the same day.
Lastly, the Indian Men?s Hockey team will play the semi-final against Germany in the last encounter of today.
