ICC T20 World Cup 2021: Legendary Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar feels Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are good enough to play the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup later this year in India.

Both Mumbai Indian cricketers have made their T20I debut in ongoing India vs England T20I series. Yadav and Kishan both debuted on the same game but the former had to wait for one more game to get his chance and showcase his skills.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan smacked a blistering half-century on his debut and won the ?Man of the Match? award and so is the case with Suryakumar Yadav.

Sachin Tendulkar has seen both the players grow in Mumbai Indians and they have shown what they are capable of.

?There is no question how talented both the players are,? Tendulkar told Reuters in a telephone interview.

?It eventually boils down to selection and the selection committee. But I can say that having played in IPL against all the leading foreign players, they are ready to play (in the Twenty20 World Cup).?

Tendulkar is the mentor of five times IPL winners and has watched both the players closely. He was not surprised to watch their performances against the top England T20I side.

?I have spent time with both of them and they are talented cricketers.?

?Before the start of IPL 2020, Ishan was practising in the nets, he was trying to get a balanced and perfect bat swing and to be mentally stable throughout and the results can be seen now.?

Ishan Kishan and Surya both have seen Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes in IPL games before and know what they exactly do. IPL has given a great exposure to young guns.

Suryakumar started his international journey with a six in the very first ball of Jofra Archer over fine leg. He looked fearless and stable in the crease right through his innings.

?What IPL has done is it has given exposure to players to play against the leading players in the world,? Tendulkar said.

?Now before you play against any international side you get to play against them or with them in the IPL. So, you know the dynamics and reality of international cricket early on. When we used to play we had to face the international players right away,? Sachin Tendulkar said.
