Suryakumar Yadav suffers sharp attack from Ex-India spinner after his 3 ducks in IND vs AUS ODI series

Suryakumar Yadav suffers sharp attack from Ex-India spinner: While the last one year or so has apparently been fruitful and memorable for Suryakumar Yadav, he certainly hasn't enjoyed his time out in the recent past. Suryakumar Yadav, who enjoys the crown of the World's Number 1 T20I Batter currently, recorded an unwanted feat against his name in the recently held ODI series between IND and AUS for which the batter has also suffered attacks from fans and the experts of the game.
Notably, Yadav, last night, became the first Indian batter to own three consecutive ducks in the three-match ODI series. In fact, SKY couldn't even last more than 1 delivery in all three ODI games respectively held against Australia. His scores for three games were - 0(1), 0(1) and 0(1).
While Mitchell Starc accounted for his wickets in the first two ODI games in Mumbai and Vishakhapatnam, spinner Ashton Agar weaved his spin web to remove Suryakumar Yadav in the third ODI held in Chennai, last night.
Quite evidently, the fans and experts were not happy with how things panned out for the Best T20I Batter of late. Former Indian spinner and presently commentator, Laxman Shivaramakrishnan, in a series of tweets, expressed his disappointment and lambasted the Indian management for mindless backing of the players only on the basis of their one-format performances.
"Fine example of how only certain players get protection, SKY great example. T20 cricket is different from 50 overs cricket. Just don?t segregate Red ball and white-ball cricket. Oh SKY was part of the Test team. You can?t pick a player based on T20 performance for all formats," Sivaramakrishnan stated.
He further said that innovation is required in the modern game of cricket, but it's not the only way to play the game.
"It requires great ability to be innovative but if that is the only way you play, you will get found out in slightly longer formats, be it 50 overs or Test matches. Anyway, GOOD MORNING ALL," the former leg spinner said in a follow-up tweet.
He just faced three deliveries: Rohit Sharma
Meanwhile, Indian captain, Rohit Sharma seems to be unfazed by the consistent failure of Suryakumar Yadav. Sharma walked out in support of his teammate in the post-match conference saying, "He just faced three good deliveries."
"He only played three balls in three (games) this series," said the Indian captain. "I don?t know how much to look into it. He got three good balls, to be honest. Today, it wasn?t that good ball; he should have gone forward. He knows best."
"He plays spin so well. We have seen that over last couple of years. That?s why we held him back and give him that role for the last 15-20 overs where he can play his game, but it?s really unfortunate he could only play three balls. That can happen to anyone. But the potential and ability is always there. He is just going through that phase right now.?
