T20 World Cup 2022: England's Players to Watch out for
1. Alex Hales - Alex Hales was included in England's squad owing to Johnny Bairstow sustaining an injury which is supposedly going to keep him out until the rest of 2022. Hales got to play international cricket after a long period of 3 years and made his presence felt. The batsman has smashed 226 runs in 7 matches since his return including two whirlwind half-centuries.
The right-hander has provided some exceptional starts to his side while opening the batting. The 33-year-old has scored 1858 T20I runs in 67 innings so far at a strike rate of 138.6. Hales' hitting form right after his comeback into the side is surely going to be a huge boost to his team's chances to lift the trophy.
2. Jos Buttler - Jos Buttler is without a doubt one of the most destructive T20I batsmen in the current cricket World. The right-hander has the ability to rip apart literally any bowling line up irrespective of what the pitch and weather conditions are. The batsman was in terrific form in the IPL this year wherein he was the top scorer and smashed four centuries.
The wicketkeeper-batsman has a total of 2295 runs in 87 T20I innings currently with a strike rate of 144.07. The hard-hitting batsman who was out with a minor injury for some time has thankfully made a fine comeback into the side during the Australian tour just before the World T20. His fine form will be of great use to his team in the upcoming big event.
3. Liam Livingstone - Liam Livingstone is undoubtedly one of the most explosive batsmen in the modern cricketing world. The right-hander with his amazing range of shots and brilliant bat flow can take any bowling lineup on demand at will. With him at strike England can certainly keep hoping for the momentum to never shift away from themselves.
The hard-hitting batsman has scored just 368 runs in his small T20I career which has just spanned 19 innings so far. However, the major aspect of his batting is his incredible strike rate that counts to way more than 150 so far in his T20I career. With his incredible big-hitting abilities, he definitely will be an important part of his team in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
T20 World Cup 2022: Winning Prediction
It really isn't an easy task for anyone to predict how far the England team stands a chance to winning the trophy in this edition of the T20 World Cup.The team though seems to be a spot in every possible way, and will have several tasks to accomplish in the big event hereon. The England t am will face some stiff competition from other sides like Australia and New Zealand in the Super 12s making it all more difficult for Jos Buttler's team to make things happen for themselves.
Despite all this, it cannot be denied that the team has got some extraordinary players who can turn the game on its head in no time. Hence it will be fair to say that the England team in all probabilities will be able to at least make it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.
