Women's Asia Cup T20 2024: From the men's action, the attention now shifts to Women's cricket and it is a big event of ACC Women's Asia Cup 2024. Sri Lanka is set to host the tournament this year and the tournament is set to commence on 19th July 2024. Starting with just two teams in 2004 (India and Sri Lanka), eight teams are taking part in the 2024 event with Nepal Women's being the new entry.

Indian Women have dominated the Asian countries in Cricket and this is pretty evident with India winning seven out of the eight editions played till now. This will be the ninth edition of the tournament and Sri Lanka is all set to host the 8-team competition in T20 format.



The eight teams of Asia are divided into two groups- GROUP A and GROUP B. Let's take a look at the two groups and the teams divided:

Among those eight teams, a sum of 15 matches will be played including three knockout matches. Each team will play three matches in the group stage and the top two teams from each group will play in the semifinals. 



All the competitions will be played at a single venue, i.e., Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla, Sri Lanka.

The all-important title-deciding contest, the final of the 2024 U-19 Women's Asia Cup is set to be played between Asian rivals India U-19 and Bangladesh U-19. This highly exciting encounter is going to be played on Sunday, 22nd of December, 2024 in the city of Kuala Lampur. 
The Indian Cricket Team booked their spot in the final by defeating Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage of the tournament while Bangladesh on other hand secured a comfortable victory over Nepal to face the Girls in Blue in the final. This forthcoming contest can be watched for free by the Indian fans and in this article, we will be taking a look at the live-streaming details of the contest.
Both the teams had played their last Super 4 matches on Friday of this week. The Indians registered a four wicket victory over the Sri Lankans and slow-left-arm-orthodox-spinner Aayushi Shukla played a crucial role in her team's victory as she ended the game with figures of 4-10. 
The U-19 Bangladeshi Women's Team on the other hand defeated Nepal by a margin of nine wickets in their final Super 4 contest. However, playing in the final won't be easy for the Sumaiya Akter-led team as the Indians had earlier thrashed them by a margin of eight wickets in their previous meeting in the Super four stage.

The all-important Final of the 2024 U-19 Women's Asia Cup between India U-19 and Bangladesh U-19 will held tomorrow on Sunday. The match will start at 7:00 AM IST (Indian Standard Time). Team India, under the captaincy of Niki Prasad were the table toppers in the Super 4 phase of Women's U-19 Asia Cup. They played four matches and out of these four games, they registered victories in three while match ended in a no-result situation. They topped the table with seven points next to their name. 
The Bangladeshi U-19 Women's Team had occupied the 2nd position in the overall standings. They participated in four games and secured wins in three contests. As we had told you earlier, the Bangladeshi team had lost their Super 4 match versus India and that's the reason why they were sitting at the 2nd position in the Points Table with six points next to their name.
