<p>The BCCI has also given a provision for the selection of players via domestic performances. This will allow all the national players a fair chance. Domestic giants such as Rajat Patidar, Rahul Tripathi, Umran Malik, and Shahbaz Ahmed can still try to get a slot in the top 15 for the ICC World Cup 2023. <p><strong>BCCI MEETING:</strong> The 2018 ODI World Cup schedule was discussed in a meeting on Sunday by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In addition, the T20 World Cup performance of Team India was evaluated. In this meeting, many significant decisions have been made. The majority of these choices have been made with the players' health in mind. Yo-yo tests and DEXA tests are now required for athletes being chosen for the national squad.</p>



<p>In the Yo-Yo test, consideration was given to the players' mental state during the corona. The test that was necessary for team selection was practically eliminated. <h2>What is Yo-Yo Test?</h2>



<ul>
<li>The beep test and the yo-yo test are comparable. Running between two sets is required for this running test.</li>



<li>There are 20 meters separating the two sets. It is about the same size as a cricket pitch.</li>



<li>The players must sprint from one set to the next and then from the second set to the first set throughout this.</li>



<li>The fifth level is where the test begins. This goes on till level 23.</li>

<h2>What is the DEXA test?</h2>



<p>A skinfold test was once used to evaluate a player's level of fitness. After that, the DEXA test for this was initiated. Team India observed the skinfold test for a number of days, however, the test's estimation of body fat percentage was inaccurate. After that, the Dexa test was initiated for a precise evaluation of body fat.</p>



<p>Dexa was later abandoned, though. Now there is another test. In reality, players have bone and joint discomfort frequently today. He has stayed away from cricket for a considerable amount of time owing to a bone injury, unlike Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah, and Deepak Chahar. <p>In what has been the latest development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has roped in Dream 11 as the main lead sponsor for Team India for the next three years. This comes after the governing body invited tender for the sponsors earlier this month.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Earlier Byju?s was the lead sponsor for the team but they opted out of the deal in March. The deal was slated till November and BCCI was without jersey sponsors and played the first recently concluded <a href="https://www.cricketworldcup.com/" data-type="URL" data-id="https://www.cricketworldcup.com/">ICC World Test Championship Final</a> with no sponsors. The governing body recently also roped in Addias as the new kit sponsor.</p>



<p>Dream 11 will take charge of Team India as sponsors from the upcoming Test series against West Indies. With Byju's, the BCCI used to earn around INR 5.5 crores for every bilateral series. But it went down to 1.7 crores for ICC tournaments due to the title sponsor's position on the jersey. From the new sponsors, BCCI is likely to earn less.&nbsp;<br></p>
