TATA IPL 2023

The list of players injured before the TATA IPL 2023 just keeps getting bigger. Two more names have now been added to this unfortunate list. These both are domestic Indian left-arm pacers. Mukesh Choudhary from the Chennai Super Kings and Mohsin Khan from the Lucknow Super Giants are likely to miss out on TATA IPL 2023 owing to their injuries. Both the pacers have been undergoing rehab at the NCA. They had a splendid tournament last season, and both the bowlers are integral parts of their teams. ?Here is an in-depth look:?

Mukesh Choudhary Likely to Miss out on TATA IPL 2023:

Mukesh Choudhary, the left-arm pacer who impressed while playing for CSK last season is in doubt for the TATA IPL 2023. He has been nursing an injury at the NCA for a long time. It was a small niggle with his back and he is undergoing a rehabilitation program at the NCA for the same. The CSK management had the following to say regarding the same, ?We're waiting on Mukesh Choudhary, but we don't have much hope. He was one of our bowling mainstays last year. It will be unfortunate if he misses out.?

Mukesh Choudhary was mighty impressive last season. He did a decent job in the absence of Deepak Chahar. By the end of the tournament, he had grabbed 16 wickets in 13 games. He is another bowler who has had a positive impact with MS Dhoni being behind the stumps. The list of such players who turned into superstars under the guidance of MS Dhoni is Deepak Chahar, Sudip Tyagi, Ishwar Pandey, and Mohit Sharma.

Mohsin Khan Likely to Miss Out on Some Part of this IPL Season:

Mohsin Khan was in the scheme of things of the national team after having an impressive TATA IPL 2022. He picked 14 wickets in the tournament and helped LSG enter the playoffs. His pace had impressed everyone. He bowled at an economy of 5.97. Considering that most of his overs were bowled at the death and in the powerplay, this economy rate can be said to be elite. He is also nursing an injury. Khan is currently with the LSG team, but his presence on the field is still a doubt.

Both players are sure of missing out on the first few games of the upcoming TATA IPL 2023 season. Mohsin still has a chance of playing at the far end of the tournament. But the recovery for Mukesh Chaudhary may take some time.
