Team India are sweating over the fitness of elite pacer Jasprit Bumrah as he has still not recovered completely from the injury he suffered in the BGT series. He's at the NCA for not waiting for his medical scan reports and as soon as the the scan reports come out, we will get to know a clearer picture about his participation chances in the 2025 edition of the Champions Trophy

The Indian Cricket Team are set to face a major setback ahead of the commencement of Champions Trophy 2025. Elite pacer Jasprit Bumrah is currently not in the team and he's still recovering from the injury he suffered in the BGT series versus the Aussies. In fact there are doubts regarding his participation in the Champions Trophy. 

At present, the 31-year-old is at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. It's believed that the next 24 hours are going to be very crucial as during this time frame, a big decision is going to be taken on the pacer. He underwent a scan at the NCA and although the reports have not come out yet, it's believed that the final reports will come out within the next 24 hours post which a final and a conclusive decision will be taken on the paper's participation in the Champions Trophy.

According to a news report of the Times of India (TOI), Bumrah's injury scans were conducted at the NCA and a big decision is likely to be taken as soon as the report comes out. Once the medical reports are out, it will become clear whether the Mumbai Indians seamer will get the chance to feature in the Champions Trophy or not. 

Earlier, during the first One-Day International versus England, skipper Rohit Sharma had reacted to a question related to the fitness status of Bumrah. He stated that he cannot say anything for sure about how seious the injury of the fast bowler is, but the information about his medical scan reports are anticipated to be revealed soon.

Let us tell you that Bumrah hurt himself in the final Test-Match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series in Sydney but he showcased a brilliant performance with the ball in that series. He was the highest wicket taker in the entire series, having dismissed batter 32 times. 

At the same time, the Men in Blue are currently taking part in the three-match ODI series versus England and Bumrah is not a part of that series. The Indian fans and the Indian Team management are eagerly waiting for a positive scan report of the pacer and Bumrah missing the marquee ICC event of this year due to injury will not be a good sign for the Rohit Sharma-led outfit.
