Asia Cup 2022: The Asia Cup 2022 is all set, to begin with, pomp and show in another couple of weeks. The hopes and aspirations of all the fans from their respective teams are surely going to be high once again just like in the previous editions of the tournament.

3. Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh)
Shakib Al Hasan who's been recently appointed as Bangladesh's new captain for the Asia Cup 2022 will be a massively important factor for his side. He with his fantastic round performances has helped his side register several memorable victories so far in his career.
However, it's his bowling which has been a huge threat to the opposition batters on several occasions. The left arm spinner has picked up a total of 4 wickets in 5 T20I matches that he's played for Bangladesh so far in 2022. He's had a bowling average of 24.50 and conceded runs at the rate of 7.56 runs per over.
Though the stats so far might not seem much convincing, Bangladesh's new skipper will look to improve the numbers and lead his side to glory in Asia Cup 2022.
2. Yuzvendra Chahal (India)
At the second spot on the list is India's mystery spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal. The 32 year old has been an absolute pillar in the Indian bowling lineup in the shorter formats. His sheer wicket-taking ability in addition to brilliant economic spells has been remarkably good to watch in the recent past.
Despite being a spinner, Chahal has mastered the art of bowling the crucial overs and helping his side strengthen its grip over matches from seemingly impossible situations. The spinner has been in fine form for India this year so far with 15 wickets in 12 matches with an average of 18.13.
He also has maintained an impressive economy of 7.13. His best bowling performance this year has been that of 3/20 against the West Indies. Chahal with his mystery will have a massively important role to play in India's upcoming Asia Cup 2022 journey.
1. Shaheen Afridi (Pakistan)
The top position in the list is occupied by Pakistan's star bowler Shaheen Afridi. The left-arm pacer has been in incredibly good form for Pakistan in white ball cricket in the recent past.
The youngster bowled a fine spell picking up two wickets for 21 runs in his only T20I match against Australia this year. His form peaked in 2021 when he picked 23 wickets in 21 T20I games for Pakistan at an average of 26.56 and an economy of 7.86.
The 22-year-old will surely be looking forward to improving his numbers in the shortest format of the game with wonderful performances in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 and lead his team to glory.
