Top all-rounders who can make it big in the IPL 2025 mega-auction

The IPL 2025 auction is peeking around the corner, and hence every team will be awaited to issue their retention list. However, many such players might be released ahead of the auction despite their immense value, this is due to the limited number of retentions made available by the IPL committee to the franchises.
The shortest format of cricket has always produced a huge demand for all-rounders, players who can bat and deliver quality with the ball as well. Many such players have starred in the previous editions of the Indian Premier League and have contributed immensely to the domination of several teams.
Likely all-rounders like Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Hardik Pandya, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell and many such greats donned the immensely great league in the world.
Top all-rounders who can be the big buys in the mega-auction:
Liam Livingstone
Fine English all-rounder, England?s most stunning and currently ICC-ranked World no.1 all-rounder, Liam Livingstone climbed above many after his special performances with both bat and ball against Australia in the T20I series.
Livingstone in recent times has bettered with the ball, as he has emerged as a quality leg-spinner and a major wicket-taking option, while he is also a great finisher with the bat.
Sam Curran
The English all-rounder was IPL?s costliest ever player in the history of the competition until the two World Cup winners were bought for a whopping 20.5 crores and 24.75 crores INR in the last auction.
Sam Curran has been an ever-evolving cricketer, as he has performed with the bat at all phases in the batting order, while he has scored quick runs at all positions from being a batter at no.3 to the role of a finisher down the order. Curran has often been seen indulging in expert spells as a left-arm medium pacer and has extracted wickets.
Will Jacks
Another English name in the list, the spin bowling all-rounder is a stunning player who plays across all global franchise-level games. Jacks has often been seen playing as an opener, just like he scored a splendid century in the last season for the RCB.
Jacks can also be a handy all-rounder as he can bowl some overs of quality off-spin and is especially useful on tracks that tend to facilitate spin.
Cameron Green
Green, the lanky-built Australian all-rounder from Western Australia, was earlier a renowned test cricketer, however, as of now he has also been relished in limited-overs cricket as well. Green was first brought into the IPL by the Mumbai Indians and in his very first season he was bought for a huge sum of 17.5 Crores INR.
Though his last season after his move to RCB didn?t go as planned, he played stunningly for Australia and will again be seen in a new franchise probably in another IPL edition. Yet Green might be the target of many franchises who are in the quest for an all-rounder who comes to bat in the middle-order.
Wanindu Hasaranga
Hasaranga once reckoned as the best spinner in T20 cricket, now after suffering repetitive injuries has faced a backlash in their performance. Hasaranga the Lankan skipper stepped down from his position, as he emerged as their best spinning option.
Hasaranga can also score quick runs down the order, as Hasaranga is a good slogger whenever he comes down the order, often recognised for playing quick and short cameos, of 20s and 30s down the order.
