[Watch] MS Dhoni?s stunning run-out against PBKS in IPL 2022, last night: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has once again stolen the limelight after he unleashes his heroic run-out against Punjab Kings (PBKS), last night.?
Dhoni once again took the entire world by storm owing to his phenomenal fitness, which can be seen by his fierce run-out in the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Dhoni, 40, ran ferociously towards the wicket, dived and targetted the ball accurately into the stumps to catch Banuka Rajpaksha well short of the popping crease to rule him out by the third umpire.
The incident happed in the 2.2 overs when Bhanuka Rajpaksha and Shikhar Dhawan were caught in a huge mixup. Chris Jordan delivered a good length delivery which was tucked to the left of the bowler by Rajpaksha and he straight away charged to steal the single.
However, Dhawan wasn?t interested but it was too late for him to track his path back, as he was already midway through the pitch. As Rajpaksha ran back to his crease, Jordan threw the delivery towards the stumps and missed it by a fair margin but his wicketkeeper MS Dhoni was there to collect the ball and light up the wickets.
Dhoni was on alert as he ran towards the wickets, while Jordan threw the ball towards the stumps. The wicketkeeper collected it after it missed the stumps, dived and again threw it towards the wickets and it was a perfect hit from the glovesman.
The dismissal charged up all the CSK fans as they began praising the 40-years old cricketer for his supreme fitness. The entire social media was set abuzz by the Dhoni fans following the crucial run-out of Bhanuka Rajapaksa.
The run-out gave Chennai Super Kings (CSK) their second breakthrough of the night dismissing dangerous Bhanuka Rajpaksha for nine runs.

Liam Livingstone dents CSK's hopes for first win in IPL 2022:
However, following the run-out, the momentum again shifted towards Punjab Kings as Liam Livingstone decided to free his arms against the CSK bowlers.
Livingstone in no time played 60 runs knock in mere 32 deliveries with the help of five fours and as many sixes.
The English cricketer certainly enjoyed his outing as he also managed to scalp two big wickets of Chennai Super Kings to make his day even better.
Punjab set a total of 180 runs in front of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), which seems achievable looking at CSK?s batting depth.?
CSK couldn?t get a good start once again, as Ruturaj Gaikwad continued his slump show in the Tata IPL 2022. Other batters also didn?t connect well and were dismissed cheaply by the Punjab bowlers.
All-rounder Shivam Dube turned out to be the lone warrior for the team as he completed his half-century, but soon he also bowed down to shatter all the hopes pinned on him.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a result lost the match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 54 runs. This was CSK's third loss on the trot in the Tata IPL 2022.
