IPL 2025 is seeing a third dose of adventure. The noise of the explosive combat of Hyderabad and Rajasthan did not calm that the team of Lucknow as they wreaked havoc on the ground versus the Delhi Capitals in Vizag. 

LSG batsman Nicholas Puran was seen dealing in sixes as he showed a show of sixes in the over of Delhi all-rounder Tristan Stubbs, which echoed the entire stadium. By hitting consecutive sixes, the Trinidadian created an amazing atmosphere for the Vizag crowd. 

Delhi Bowlers were smashed to all parts of the Ground

Axar Patel, the new skipper of the Capitals won the toss and asked the Rishabh Pant-led LSG to bat first. This decision of Axar came back to haunt him as the Lucknow batting unit went after the Delhi bowlers like hungry lions. 

First opening batter Mitchell Marsh smashed them to all parts of the ground and then, Nicholas Pooran entertained the crowd by slamming four consecutive big sixes. The Southpaw brought up his fifty in mere 23 balls and this master stroke of sending him out to bat at number three worked in a perfect manner. 

28 runs in one over was smashed

Pooran appeared in a different mood in Tristan Stubbs' over. He honored the first ball of this over, but his mood changed after that. He hit 4 sixes one after the other and hit the last ball out of the ground. In the entire over, the Southpaw slammed 28 runs and touched the 70 run mark in just 27 deliveries.

Lucknow's Fire

Lucknow's team started tremendously against Delhi. Opener Mitchell Marsh started the innings in a rambling manner. He scored 72 runs in just 36 balls thanks to 6 fours and as many sixes. However, Captain Pant was dismissed without opening the account. Pooran also missed a century as Starc sent his stumps for a walk at a score of 75 in 30 balls.
