WATCH: Team India launch T20 World Cup Jersey, Jersey Release Video

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Monday, unveiled Team India's new jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in the West Indies and the United States. Adidas has been retained as the jersey sponsor by the BCCI as seen in the pictures.

The jersey, contrary to the previous ones, has been designed on a dual tone with a prominence of orange colour. The arms and shoulders have been given an orangish tone along with the borders around the waist, while the rest of the jersey remains in the iconic blue of Team India.

Team India's jersey has the logo of Dream11 at the centre with India written above it. The jersey has BCCI's logo on the left side chest while the right one features the logo of Adidas.

The video featuring Indian captain Rohit Sharma, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was posted by Adidas. The three Indian stalwarts were seen looking at the Helicopter as it carried Team India's new jersey for the T20 World Cup 2024 with the picturesque mountains of Dharmshala in the backdrop.

"One jersey. One Nation. Presenting the new Team India T20 jersey," captioned Adidas on an Instagram post on Monday.

Meanwhile, Team India is set to begin their run in the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 5 against Ireland. The Group A fixture will be held at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. The most anticipated clash of the World Cup between India and Pakistan will be held on June 9 at the same venue.

Three of India's four group-stage matches will be held in New York, while the fourth one against Canada is scheduled to be held in Florida.

Team India squad for T20 World Cup 2024

The BCCI, recently, announced India's 15-men strong squad for the event in the USA and West Indies. The side will be led by Rohit Sharma, while Hardik Pandya has been retained as the deputy.

The squad features the likes of Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja among others. Yuzvendra Chahal has made it to the T20 World Cup squad for the first time along with Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has made a comeback into the side following his sublime show in the IPL 2024. Alongside Pant, Team India will have the services of Sanju Samson as the second glovesman on the side.

Meanwhile, the likes of Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan have been kept in the reserves for the tournament.
