India next series: The ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 ended with celebrations for Team India. Everyone's focus was on the eight-team tournament for several months, but it ended on a happy note for Indian fans as the Rohit Sharma-led team lifted the Trophy for the third time. They defeated New Zealand by a margin of four wickets in the final match of the recently concluded tournament.
After 12 years, India has hoisted its flag in the Champions Trophy. But now it is time to look ahead, let's know when and against whom the Indian team will face next.
World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle kicks off
Team India failed to qualify for the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25. Big defeats against New Zealand and Australia had knocked the Men in Blue out of the final race. But now preparations will be made for the next edition of the tournament. The new cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC) will kick off with the Test series against England.
When will the series with England take place?
BCCI has already released the schedule of Team India for the next series. The Indian team will soon be seen in England for a five-match Test series. They will tour England from June to August. The first match will be played in Leeds on June 20. Before this, all the players of India will be busy in IPL.
WTC 2023-2025 Final will be held in June
The World Test Championship final will be played between Australia and South Africa on June 11. The Kangaroos made it to the final by defeating India in the home series. After the defeat in this series, there were talks of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retiring. Now it will be interesting to see whether these two legends will be seen playing for Team India on the England tour in June.

Over the next year, the Men in Blue will be taking part in a total of nine Test games and 12 One Day International matches. The Suryakumar Yadav-led T20i team is also guaranteed to play 18 T20 International games in addition to competing in the Asia Cup & the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
The 2025 Indian Premier League season will begin on March 22 at Eden Gardens with a match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders. The final will take place at the same venue on the 25th of May.
