At the same time, Lucknow's journey has ended with eight losses out of 14 games. While the campaign of the Rishabh Pant-led team ended on bitter note, things got even more worse for them as the BCCI has given a big blow to the entire playing 11 including Pant and the impact-player. The board has fined LSG about Rs 1 crore 62 lakh after finding it guilty of slow over rate in this match.

Violation of code of conduct

In a statement issued by the IPL, it was said that the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Rishabh Pant has been fined in the LSG vs RCB match after his side maintained a slow over-rate against Bangalore during Match Number Seventy of the Tata IPL 2025 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium Lucknow on Tuesday.

Rishabh Pant will have to pay 30 lakh rupees

The statement further said that this was his team's third offence of the season relating to minimum over-rate offences under the IPL's Code of Conduct. Hence, the wicketkeeper batter was fined 30 lakh Indian Rupees.

At the same time, the rest of the members of the playing eleven, including the impact player, were individually fined Rs 12 lakh or 50 percent of their match fee (whichever is less). In this way, the total fine amounts to about Rs 1 crore 62 lakh.
