WPL 2025 Auction: Full Lists of SOLD and UNSOLD Players after Auction

13 out of 19 sold players are uncapped, leaving some big names in the UNSOLD bracket. Heather Knight, Sneh Rana, and Kim Garth are among the left-outs.

WPL 2025 Auction: December 15, the date that changed the status of a lot of uncapped Indian players. 19 Star or 'to be star' players sold to five teams of the WPL from a vast pool of 120 players.

The 2025 WPL Auction concluded with intense bidding wars as teams sought to finalize their squads. Gujarat Giants, entering the auction with the highest purse of ₹4.4 crore and four slots to fill, made bold moves to secure top-tier players. Their aggressive strategy showcased their intent to dominate the upcoming season, utilizing their financial edge effectively.

Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, both with four slots to fill, took calculated approaches. With a purse of ₹2.65 crore, Mumbai focused on balancing experience and youth, while Bengaluru, with ₹3.25 crore, roped in all uncapped in their squad. Both teams seemed content with their picks, keeping a keen eye on value-for-money additions.

UP Warriorz and Delhi Capitals faced tighter budgets but navigated the auction smartly. UP Warriorz, with ₹3.9 crore and three slots, focused on securing impact players, ensuring quality over quantity. Delhi Capitals, starting with ₹2.5 crore for four slots, had to be highly selective, yet their strategy reflected a long-term vision. Each team now looks ahead to a competitive season, armed with refreshed squads.
