Match number nine of the Tata Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 proved to be a magnificent and thrilling encounter as defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru suffered a defeat versus Deepti Sharma's UP Warriorz in a hard-fought manner in the super over. Whenever both the teams clash against each other, it always brings entertainment and this was the case this time around as well as the Bengaluru crowd got the perfect entertainment and thrilling show.

In this clash, RCB scored 180 runs while playing first. Captain Smriti Mandhana was out early for Bangalore, but Alice Perry and Daniel Wyatt Hodge thrashed the UP bowlers fiercely. On one hand, Alice Perry played an innings of 90 runs in 56 balls, during which she hit 9 fours and 3 sixes. Along with her, Wyatt scored 57 runs. In this way, RCB scored 180 runs while playing first.
UP Warriors got a target of 181 runs. No player of the team could score a fifty, but captain Deepti Sharma's quick innings of 25 runs in 13 balls, and apart from her, Shweta Sehrawat also contributed 31 runs. In the last overs, Sophie Ecclestone scored 33 runs in 19 balls and Saima Thakur also scored 14 runs quickly and helped UP to tie the match.

RCB's innings - UP chose the world's number one bowler Sophie Ecclestone for bowling. Richa Ghosh could not score any run on the first ball, one run came on the second ball. The third ball was again a dot and a single run came on the fourth ball. One run came on the fifth and sixth ball as well, due to which Bangalore could score only four runs. In this way, Bangalore lost this match by 4 runs.
