Now, let's take a look at the top 4 leading wicket-takers of WTC 2021-2023 till now :

1. Jaspreet Bumrah (45 wickets)

Bringing Bumrah to international cricket was as much as bringing a duck into the water! As soon as he debuted, he was already regarded as one of the most talented pacers in the world.

No surprise that Bumrah sits on top of the list. This right-armed unorthodox bowler has three five-wicket hauls to his name since the start of the WTC 2021-2023, which came in three different series and in three different countries.

He holds the eyes of spectators whenever on the ground. When holding the bat, during India's most recent Test match, he took a whopping 35 runs from one Stuart Broad over when standing in as Test captain for regular skipper Rohit Sharma against England in Birmingham.

2. Shaheen Shah Afridi (41 wickets)

After Shaheen Shah Afridi, the Pakistani ace has been added to the Pakistani bowling order, the Pakistani bowling line-up looks very aggressive and dangerous.

he has continuously troubled the top order of the opposition team with his superb new ball bowling. he has 2 fifers and a maiden ten-wicket haul in a match against West Indies.

3. Jimmi Anderson (40 wickets)

"Age is just a number". Well, Jimmi Anderson is an example. This English bowler is in his 40, bowling exceptionally well than most 20s-aged bowlers.

Anderson responded well to the ongoing speculations of any possibilities of his retirement by taking 11 wickets against NZ despite missing the last game at Leeds with an avg of 18.
